4-Vehicle Collision on Asher in LR Proves Fatal
An unidentified John Doe was fatally injured in an accident on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
At approximately 9:46 p.m. the unidentified male pedestrian was struck while attempting to cross U.S. 71B in Springdale. Two pedestrians were crossing U.S. 71B (S Thompson Street) at the intersection with Hembree Avenue when they were both struck by a northbound vehicle (2013 BMW 3 Series). The unidentified John Doe sustained fatal injuries.
29-year-old Denise Salcedo (Fayetteville, AR) was injured in the accident and transported to Washington Regional Medical Center.
The vehicle’s driver fled the scene before later “turning himself in that night,” according to the police report.
