Semi-Truck Collision Proves Fatal on I-40

63-year-old Danny Jeffcoat (Pottsville, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, July 20, 2024.

At approximately 1:24 p.m. Mr. Jeffcoat’s semi-truck (2011 Peterbilt) collided with a stopped 18-wheeler (2016 Freightliner) on I-40 westbound near Widener, Arkansas. After the collision, Mr. Jeffcoat’s semi-truck collided with a second 18-wheeler (2018 Kenworth). Mr. Jeffcoat sustained fatal injuries in a collision.
