Mayflower Motorcycle Collision Claims the Life of Shane Cochran

44-year-old Shane Cochran (Mayflower, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.

At approximately 4:39 p.m. Mr. Shane Cochran was traveling west on State Highway 89 near Clinton Road. An eastbound vehicle (2012 Mazda 3) was stopped in the eastbound lane waiting to turn north onto Clinton Road. The Mazda vehicle was struck from behind by another eastbound vehicle (2014 Chevy Cruze). Following the initial collision, the Chevy vehicle entered the westbound lane of traffic where it collided with Mr. Cochran’s motorcycle (2012 Honda).

Mr. Cochran was thrown from his motorcycle sustaining fatal injuries in the collision.

Neither driver of the Mazda nor the Chevy vehicles reported injuries.
