67-year-old Virgil L. Darrough (North Little Rock, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Thursday, October 1, 2020.
At approximately 3:30 p.m. Mr. Darrough was traveling east on Interstate 40 when the vehicle (2020 FTL) traveling in front of Mr. Darrough’s vehicle applied its brakes suddenly “to avoid striking another motor vehicle.” Mr. Darrough’s vehicle (2017 Intl Harvester) struck the rear portion of the FTL vehicle’s trailing unit.
48-year-old Johnny W. Richardson (Conway, AR) and 40-year-old Shane West (Romance, AR) both sustained injuries in the collision.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
