Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
37-year-old Timothy Sanders (Mabelvale, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Tuesday, March 16, 2021.
At approximately 6:15 p.m. Mr. Sanders and passenger, Brandy Stanhouse (Emmet, AR), were traveling north on Chicot Road. A southbound vehicle (2017 GMC Sierra) was turning east onto Russwood Lane off of Chicot Road when Mr. Sanders’ motorcycle (2004 Suzuki XR1) struck the southbound vehicle as it was turning.
Ms. Stanhouse sustained injuries in the collision and was transported with injuries to Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
