Little Rock Biker Fatally Injured on Stagecoach Road
80-year-old Rebecca Welday (Pearcy, AR) and an unidentified minor were both fatally injured in an accident on Sunday, July 31, 2022.
At approximately 2:40 p.m. Ms. Welday was traveling north on Highway 7 North in Bismarck when her vehicle (2015 Chevy Spark) crossed the centerline on wet roadways north of DeGray Lake State Park. Ms. Welday’s vehicle collided head-on with a southbound vehicle (2016 Ford Escape).
The unidentified minor was a passenger in the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries. 69-year-old Cathy Hathcoat (Arkadelphia, AR) was traveling in the southbound vehicle and suffered injuries in the collision.
Road conditions were wet and weather conditions cloudy at the time of the accident.
