47-year-old Marty Thompson (Corning, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, August 28, 2021.

At approximately 12:30 p.m. Mr. Thompson was traveling south on U.S. 67/62 between Biggers and Reyno when his vehicle (2001 Toyota Corolla) crossed the centerline and struck a northbound semi-truck (2010 Volvo) head-on.

64-year-old Stephen Bergman (Porter, TX) was driving the northbound semi-truck at the time of the accident and was transported with injuries to Five Rivers Regional Medical Center.
