Greenbrier Man Fatally Injured in Hwy 65 Collision

48-year-old Curtis C. Childress (Greenbrier, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Thursday, September 26, 2024.

At approximately 6:21 a.m. Mr. Curtis Childress was traveling north on US Highway 65 when a southbound vehicle attempted to make a lefthand turn across Mr. Childress’s lane of traffic. The southbound vehicle (2002 Chevy) failed to yield and turned in front of Mr. Childress’s motorcycle (2005 Yamaha) causing Mr. Childress’s Yamaha to collide with the southbound Chevy vehicle.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
