Head-on Collision Near Wynne Proves Fatal
38-year-old Katrina Dunnick (Little Rock, AR) and two unidentified minors (one male, one female) were fatally injured in an accident that took place on Thursday, November 28, 2019.
At approximately 5:14 p.m. Ms. Dunnick’s vehicle (2007 Nissan Altima) was stopped on the shoulder of Interstate 30 near mile marker 123 when the vehicle reentered the roadway heading east “at a slow rate of speed.” The vehicle was struck from behind by an eastbound 18-wheeler (2019 Volvo).
Two additional minors (one male, one female) were in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Both were transported with injuries to Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
52-year-old Mavlyud S. Akhmedov (Okemos, MI) was driving the 18-wheeler at the time of the accident and sustained injuries according to the report.
Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
