Head-on Collision Near Wynne Proves Fatal
85-year-old William Baxter (Brinkley, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Monday, March 3, 2025.
At approximately 6:30 a.m. Mr. Baxter was traveling west on US 79 just east of Clarendon, Arkansas when his vehicle (2022 Ford Escape) collided with a tractor-trailer. The 18-wheeler (2000 International Harvester) was parked with its trailer “partially in the westbound lane of travel.” Mr. Baxter’s front end of his vehicle collided with the rear of the truck’s trailer.
Mr. William Baxter sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
