Staff Spotlight: Lindsey Smith

April’s Staff Spotlight shines on Lindsey Smith, who has been a member of our team since May 2022. Starting as a case manager, Lindsey now serves as our lead case manager trainer.

During her time as lead, she introduced “Fresh Start Fridays,” providing ongoing training and refreshers for our case management department. Lindsey emphasizes the importance of organization, stating, “My calendar and email are two things I check vigorously throughout the day.”

Her role has taught her the significance of empathy: “It is important to be understanding and responsive. I take my position very seriously and always want to put my best foot forward for new employees and current staff to see the dedication I have to our firm.”

Reflecting on her decision to join Taylor King Law, Lindsey recalls her experience as a client. “I was inspired by the compassion shown towards my family in our time of need while being pregnant and dealing with the stress of a car accident. We were checked on religiously, and our attorney even wanted to see pictures of our babies, which showed me a lot of care and compassion,” she shares.

Beyond the office, Lindsey adores being a twin mom and enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, competitive archery, and cornhole. As spring approaches, her ideal weekend involves outdoor adventures with her family, riding their side-by-side or fishing on the Little Missouri River. And when it comes to food, Lindsey’s palate favors Cajun and Creole cuisine: “Anything gumbo, etouffee, jambalaya – it’s all a win!”

As for a fun fact – Lindsey jokes, “I’m one of the few employees in our Arkadelphia office who didn’t go to Henderson or OBU!”

In three words, Lindsey describes her Taylor King Law experience as “empathetic, determined, and trusting.”

We’re grateful for Lindsey’s transition from client to case manager and her significant contribution to our team.
