Three Injured in Fatal Cabot Car Accident
41-year-old Sherrick M. Gibson (Junction City, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Monday, December 17 in Union County.
Ms. Gibson was the passenger in a 2017 Nissan Altima headed south on Highway 167 near El Dorado. 57-year-old Rebecca S. Dison (Spearsville, LA) was driving west on Southfield Cutoff Road and failed to yield while crossing Highway 167. Ms. Gibson’s vehicle struck Ms. Dison’s vehicle (2015 Dodge Durango) before striking several trees.
Ms. Dison and the driver of Ms. Gibson’s vehicle, 30-year-old Shacazza N. Gray (Junction City, AR), were transported with injuries to the Medical Center of South Arkansas.
Weather conditions at the time were reportedly foggy and road conditions dry.
