Ash Flat Car Wreck Claims Driver's Life

61-year-old David L. Hobbs (Ash Flat, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Thursday, December 19, 2024.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. Mr. Hobbs was traveling east on US Highway 62 just west of Ash Flat. An eastbound vehicle (2016 Toyota Sequoia) rear-ended Mr. Hobbs’ vehicle (1991 Chevy S10) forcing Mr. Hobbs’ vehicle into the westbound lanes of traffic. Mr. Hobbs’ Chevy vehicle collided with a westbound vehicle (2023 GMC Sierra). Mr. David Hobbs sustained fatal injuries in the accident.

36-year-old Jamilia D. West (Ash Flat, AR) also sustained injuries in the collision.
