Two from Mena Fatally Injured in Waldron Car Crash

64-year-old John Kendrick (Mena, AR) and 41-year-old Shalotta Daniel (Mena, AR) were both fatally injured in an accident that took place on Saturday, October 17, 2020.

At approximately 3:25 p.m. Mr. Kendrick and Ms. Daniel were traveling north on U.S. Highway 71 north of Waldron when their vehicle (2015 Ford Explorer) left the roadway near State Highway 378. The vehicle struck a telephone pole and tree before coming to a rest.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
