Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
44-year-old Samuel N. Clanton (Hermitage, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Saturday, July 18, 2020.
At approximately 4:00 p.m. Mr. Clanton was traveling west on State Highway 8 when his vehicle failed to negotiate a curve. Mr. Clanton’s vehicle (2015 Chevrolet Silverado) left the roadway before veering back and forth across the roadway and then overturning.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
