Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
33-year-old Rusty E. Miller (Malvern, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Tuesday, March 9, 2021.
Shortly before 11:00 a.m. Mr. Miller attempted to make a left-hand turn onto U.S. Highway 270 East near Hot Springs. Mr. Miller’s vehicle (2014 Ford Focus) “entered the roadway into the path of [a westbound vehicle].” The westbound vehicle (2000 Jeep Wrangler) struck the left side of Mr. Miller’s vehicle in the inside westbound lane of traffic.
No additional injuries were reported.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
