Greenbrier Man Fatally Injured in Hwy 65 Collision
18-year-old Michael Matteson (Newport, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Monday, June 8, 2020.
At approximately 1:25 p.m. Mr. Matteson was traveling south on Highway 69 south of Newark when his vehicle (1997 Jeep) crossed the centerline and struck the trailer and rear tandems of a northbound 18-wheeler (2012 Freightliner).
Conditions were reportedly cloudy and dry.
