Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
34-year-old Joseph Criss (Wynne, AR) and 38-year-old Matthew McClellan (Wynne, AR) were both fatally injured in an accident that took place on Wednesday, July 22, 2020.
At approximately 7:05 a.m. Mr. Criss was driving south on State Highway 284 in Wynne. Mr. McClellan was driving north on State Highway 284 when his vehicle (1997 Chevrolet pick-up truck) crossed the centerline and collided head-on with Mr. Criss’ vehicle (1995 Lincoln Towncar). The collision occurred near the intersection with Highway 350.
Weather conditions were cloudy and road conditions dry at the time of the accident.
