I-40 Accident Results in 2025 Fatal Car Wreck
76-year-old Jimmy Barnard, Sr. (Bonnerdale, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Thursday, September 30, 2021.
At approximately 3:50 p.m. Mr. Barnard was exiting a parking lot on U.S. 70 attempting to cross U.S. 70 onto North Pearcy Road. Mr. Barnard’s vehicle (2004 Honda CRV) entered the path of an 18-wheeler and was struck on the passenger side by the westbound 18-wheeler (2013 Mack).
Mr. Barnard was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
