42-year-old Maria Acosta, of Carpentersville, Illinois, succumbed to injuries following an accident on Interstate 40, Friday night shortly before 7:00 pm.
According to Arkansas State Police, Ms. Acosta’s car struck the trailer of a semi-truck, which had been involved in a prior accident.
Conditions at the time of the accident were rainy and wet.
Accident Location: Interstate 40 near mile marker 162 in Pulaski County, Arkansas.
