Icy Roads in Siloam Springs Lead to Fatal Wreck

20-year-old Miles D. Walker, of Rogers, was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, April 7th, 2018. Mr. Walker was a passenger in a 2005 Nissan headed west on State Highway 16 just east of Siloam Springs when the vehicle attempted to navigate a curve and crossed the centerline into eastbound traffic. The driver of the vehicle overcorrected, veering into a ditch and striking a tree. The vehicle came to rest overturned in a grassy ditch.

Conditions at the time of the accident were icy and cloudy according to Arkansas State Police.

The driver, Riley Stanley, and a second passenger, Mason Smith, were injured and transported to Washington Regional Hospital.
