Chelsey Mullen Fatally Injured in Rainy Pope County Wreck

21-year-old Chelsey N. Mullen (Pottsville, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Friday, August 7, 2020.

Shortly before 1:00 p.m. Ms. Mullen was a passenger in a vehicle (2001 Dodge) traveling east on State Highway 105 South in Pope County. Ms. Mullen’s vehicle lost control on wet roads while navigating a curve before spinning, leaving the roadway and striking a tree, ultimately flipping the vehicle upside down.

25-year-old Shane A. Walker (Pottsville, AR) sustained injuries during the accident.

Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
