Both Drivers Fatally Injured in Poinsett County Head-On Collision

55-year-old Bobby D. Eskew (McCrory, AR) and 51-year-old Cheryl Y. Lanney (Paragould, AR) were both fatally injured in an accident that took place on Saturday, April 18, 2020.

At approximately 4:48 a.m. Mr. Eskew was traveling north on Highway 1 just south of Harrisburg. Ms. Lanney was traveling south on Highway 1 when her vehicle (2008 Toyota Prius) crossed the centerline and struck Mr. Eskew’s vehicle (2003 Ford Ranger) head-on.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
