Woman Struck on Highway 167 in Cave City
33-year-old Lamarrieo M. Hughes (Sparkman, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
At approximately 5:15 a.m. Mr. Hughes was traveling north on Highway 79 behind a northbound 18-wheeler. The tractor-trailer (2019 Freightliner) was traveling in the outside lane when it attempted to make a left turn from the outside lane to the crossover in the median. Mr. Hughes’ vehicle (2011 Ford Mustang) collided with the rear of the semi truck’s trailer.
Mr. Lamarrieo Hughes sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
