Head-on Collision Near Big Lake Claims 2 Lives
74-year-old Vernell Plunkett (Little Rock, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Friday, November 6, 2020.
At approximately 2:20 p.m. Ms. Plunkett was traveling north on Highway 167 when her vehicle attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Woodson Lateral Road. Ms. Plunkett’s vehicle (2013 Chevrolet Equinox) turned into the path of a southbound vehicle (2020 Jeep Cherokee) and collided head-on with the southbound vehicle.
47-year-old Joby Plunkett (Little Rock, AR) sustained injuries in the collision and was transported to UAMS in Little Rock.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
