82-year-old David L. Smith (Paragould, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Sunday, January 12, 2025.

At approximately 3:20 p.m. Mr. Smith was traveling north on U.S. 49 north of Paragould when he turned left onto Greene County Road 434. As it was crossing the train tracks, Mr. Smith’s vehicle (2001 Chevy) was struck on the passenger side. Mr. David Smith sustained fatal injuries in the crash.
