Vehicle Headed the Wrong Way Leads to Fatal I-30 Accident

60-year-old James V. Ball (Deer Park, TX) was fatally injured in an accident that took place in Hot Spring County on Monday, November 26 at approximately 8:12 p.m.

Mr. Ball was traveling east in the westbound lanes of Interstate 30 near mile marker 99 (Rockport, AR) on Monday evening when his 2004 Chevrolet pick-up truck struck a westbound 2016 Honda CRV head-on. Mr. Ball was pronounced dead at the scene.

23-year-old Salvatore Nick Campise (Dickinson, TX) and 21-year-old Tyler D. Carroll (Victoria, TX) were in the Honda CRV and transported to UAMS with injuries.

Conditions at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry.
