Dorothiea Hyde Loses Life on an Icy Highway 167 near Sheridan

Conway resident, Dorothiea M. Hyde, was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Highway 167 North, north of Sheridan, Arkansas in Grant County.

 

Ms. Hyde, 62, was headed south in a 2011 Nissan Versa when she lost control on the icy Highway 167. Her vehicle spun and struck a 2016 Freightliner headed south as well. The semi-truck swerved to avoid Ms. Hyde’s vehicle, but her Nissan struck the driver’s side of the Freightliner.

 

The accident took place at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 17th. Conditions at the time were icy.
