4-Vehicle Collision on Asher in LR Proves Fatal
58-year-old Brenda M. Barnes (Booneville, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Friday, March 19, 2021.
At approximately 2:18 p.m. Ms. Barnes was traveling east on State Highway 217 just east of Booneville. Ms. Barnes attempted to turn north across the westbound lane of traffic. Ms. Barnes’s vehicle (2017 Kawasaki) was struck by a westbound vehicle (2006 Ford).
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
