Malvern Teenager Fatally Injured in Rainy Accident on Saturday

18-year-old Austin Pierce (Malvern, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, April 16, 2022.

Shortly before 2:00 a.m. Mr. Pierce was in a vehicle (2013 Dodge Charger) traveling north on U.S. 67 in Friendship when his vehicle left the roadway in rainy and wet conditions. An additional unidentified minor female was injured in the accident and transported with injuries to Baptist Health in Arkadelphia.

Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
