Head-on Collision Claims Two Lives Near Sedgwick

46-year-old Randy E. Spades (Lynn, AR) and an unidentified male minor were both fatally injured in an accident that took place on Sunday, August 23, 2020. 37-year-old Valerie Timmons (Bono, AR) and an additional female minor sustained injuries during the incident.

Shortly before 7:30 p.m. Mr. Spades was traveling north on Highway 63 near Sedgwick when his vehicle (2004 Dodge Neon) crossed the center turn lane and collided head-on with a southbound vehicle (2014 Chevrolet Equinox). The minor who sustained fatal injuries was a passenger in the southbound Chevrolet vehicle.

Ms. Valerie Timmons (Bono, AR) was driving the Chevrolet vehicle at the time of the accident and sustained injuries. An additional female minor passenger in Ms. Timmons’ vehicle also sustained injuries.

Following the initial collision, Mr. Spades’ vehicle then struck a third vehicle (2003 Ford F-250). An unidentified female minor passenger of the Ford vehicle sustained injuries during the accident as well.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
