Four Lives Lost at Attempted Railroad Crossing in Arkansas

John W Miller (44) was headed west on a private drive near U.S. Highway 49 in Tilton, Arkansas when he attempted to cross the railroad in a 2009 Hyundai Sonata. The car was struck by a southbound train killing the driver and 3 passengers: 21-year-old Kayanna R. Newton (McCrory), 30-year-old Nicholas L. Newton (McCrory), and 48-year-old Joetta R. Honey (Jonesboro).

The accident occurred at 5:39 p.m. on Saturday, June 16.
