Vehicle Pulls in Front of Motorcycle Fatally Injuring Nolden Thrift of Knoxville

46-year-old Nolden Thrift (Knoxville) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Friday, October 26 shortly after 1:00 p.m.

Mr. Thrift was driving his 2006 Suzuki DL1 motorcycle east on Highway 64 near New Palmer Road in Clarksville. A 2002 Jeep Liberty was making a lefthand turn from New Palmer Road onto Highway 64 but failed to yield to Mr. Thrift’s motorcycle. Mr. Thrift struck the Jeep Liberty on the driver’s side. The driver of the Jeep Liberty, 21-year-old Amanda Rose Clinebell (Clarksville), and a passenger, 50-year-old Greg Clinebell (Clarksville), were transported to the hospital with injuries.

Conditions at the time were reportedly clear and dry.
