4-Vehicle Collision on Asher in LR Proves Fatal
24-year-old McKenzie P. Scruggs (Center Ridge, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, May 21, 2021.
Shortly before 6:00 p.m., Ms. Scruggs was a passenger in a vehicle traveling west on Highway 64 east of Conway when her vehicle (2016 Ford Fiesta) crossed the centerline. Ms. Scruggs’s vehicle collided head-on with an eastbound vehicle (1999 Chevrolet Silverado) in the eastbound inside lane of traffic.
22-year-old Keair M. Criswell (Conway, AR) was driving the westbound vehicle. Both Mr. Criswell and 18-year-old Caroline J. Lisio (Conway, AR), a passenger in the vehicle, sustained injuries in the collision.
24-year-old Robert J. Schottenbauer (Sierra Vista, Arizona) was driving the eastbound vehicle and sustained injuries in the collision.
Those injured were transported to Conway Regional Hospital.
Weather conditions were cloudy and road conditions dry at the time of the accident.
