Tennessee Man Fatally Injured in Arkansas Accident on Hwy 9

40-year-old Michael Scott Story (Johnson City, TN) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Friday, March 12, 2021.

At approximately 4:00 a.m. Mr. Story was traveling north on State Highway 9 just south of Thornburg when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a guardrail before traveling down an embankment. Mr. Story’s vehicle (2008 Mazda) Struck a tree before overturning and landing in “a creek on its passenger side.”
