Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
33-year-old Lawrence Irokameje (Little Rock, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Thursday, November 5, 2020.
At approximately 10:45 p.m. Mr. Irokameje was traveling west on Asher Avenue near Cedar Street and Pine Street when an eastbound vehicle (2005 Cadillac Escalade) swerved into the westbound lane of traffic and struck Mr. Irokameje’s vehicle (2001 Honda RS).
The driver of the Cadillac vehicle attempted to flee the scene.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
