Teenager Fatally Injured on Wet Roads in Springdale Accident

A teenage driver (Rogers, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Sunday, March 14, 2021.

Shortly before 3:00 p.m. the unidentified teenager and an unidentified passenger were traveling north on Interstate 49 when their vehicle hydroplaned near mile marker 75. Their vehicle (2005 Chevrolet Silverado) spun counterclockwise before leaving the roadway and striking a sign.

Those injured were transported to NW Medical Center in Washington County.

Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions wet.
