Clinton Resident, Conrad Watts, Loses Life in Pope County Wreck

83-year-old Conrad Watts (Clinton, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Wednesday, July 3, 2019.

Shortly before 4:00 p.m. Mr. Watts was driving west on State Highway 16 just west of the Old Highway 27 intersection when Mr. Watts’ vehicle (2015 Dodge Ram) failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway. Mr. Watts’ vehicle struck a tree.

84-year-old Barbara Watts (Clinton, AR) was a passenger in the vehicle.

Conditions at the time were reportedly clear and dry.
