Fatal Collision on US 79 Near Pine Bluff, AR
At approximately 1:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, February 20th, 35-year-old Melissa Forrest, of Monticello, collided with a parked Arkansas Department of Transportation dump truck along U.S. Highway 65 in Lake Village.
The Department of Transportation crew was repairing potholes nearby when the accident occurred. Ms. Forrest was fatally injured. No other injuries were reported.
Conditions at the time were reportedly clear and dry.
