Both Drivers Lose Life in Highway 1 Collision in Arkansas

68-year-old Karen Spiegel (Harrisburg, AR) and 41-year-old Dana Jones (Wynne, AR) were both fatally injured in an accident that took place on Tuesday, March 3, 2020.

At approximately 5:45 p.m. Ms. Jones was traveling south on State Highway 1 in Poinsett County when her vehicle (1996 Chevrolet) crossed the centerline and collided with Ms. Spiegel’s vehicle (2008 Dodge Avenger) in the northbound lane of traffic. Ms. Speigel was traveling north on State Highway 1.

42-year-old Dana Riddle (Harrisburg, AR) was a passenger in Ms. Spiegel’s vehicle and transported with injuries to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
