Head-on Collision in Nashville Claims Both Drivers' Lives

68-year-old Patrick Byrne (Dierks, AR) and 45-year-old Jamal Staves (Nashville, AR) were both fatally injured in an accident on Thursday, June 10, 2021.

An additional female minor sustained injuries in the collision and was transported with injuries to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.

At approximately 10:53 a.m. Mr. Byrne was traveling north on U.S. Highway 278 in Nashville. Mr. Staves was traveling south on Highway 278 West when his vehicle (2012 Cadillac) crossed the centerline and collided head-on with Mr. Byrne’s vehicle (2015 Chevrolet). Both drivers sustained fatal injuries.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
