Biker Struck by Vehicle Pulling Out of Chick-fil-A in Fort Smith

63-year-old William Joseph Hanson (Fort Smith, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, May 8, 2021.

At approximately 9:37 p.m. Mr. Hanson was traveling east on Rogers Avenue in Fort Smith when a vehicle (2017 Dodge Ram) pulled out of the Chick-fil-A (6810 Rogers Ave.) parking lot. Mr. Hanson’s motorcycle (2006 Harley Davidson) struck the Dodge vehicle.

Mr. Hanson was transported to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith where he succumbed to his injuries.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
