Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
36-year-old truck driver Sukhpreet Singh, of Indianapolis, was traveling west on Interstate 30 in Hot Springs County near Social Hill when he swerved to avoid an object on the road. His 2013 Freightliner overcorrected and overturned. The big truck slid off the interstate near the exit for Social Hill and struck a tree. The truck then caught fire, blocking part of the interstate. The accident occurred just before 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, March 11th.
Conditions at the time of the accident were clear and dry.
