U.S. 62 Head-on Collision Claims 1 Life, Injures 5

61-year-old Wanda Kinkade (Glencoe, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, April 21, 2023.

At approximately 11:36 p.m. Ms. Wanda Kinkade was a passenger in a vehicle traveling north on Highway 62 in Randolph County. A southbound vehicle (2003 Dodge Durango) crossed the centerline south of Ravenden and collided head-on with Ms. Kinkade’s vehicle (2006 Toyota Scion) in the northbound lane of traffic. Ms. Kinkade sustained fatal injuries in the collision.

The driver of Ms. Kinkade’s vehicle, 62-year-old John Kinkade (Glencoe, Arkansas), sustained injuries in the collision. Two additional minor passengers were also injured.

The driver of the southbound Dodge vehicle, 32-year-old Farrah Dalton (Highland, AR), and a passenger, 30-year-old Jackey Dalton (Hardy, AR), also sustained injuries in the accident.

Those injured were transported with injuries to St. Bernard’s Hospital, NEA Baptist Hospital, and Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.
