Two Lives Lost After an Eighteen Wheeler Runs a Stop Sign Near Nashville

33-year-old William B. Edwards and an unidentified minor lost their lives in an accident that occurred 6 miles west of Nashville, Arkansas on Thursday, August 2. The accident took place shortly before 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 371 and State Highway 355.

Mr. Edwards was driving a 2003 Ford F-150 west on Highway 371. The second vehicle, a 2016 International Tractor semi-truck, was headed north on Highway 355. The semi-truck ran a stop sign and struck the F-150 in the driver side, killing two and injuring an additional unidentified minor.

Conditions at the time were reportedly clear and dry.
