Fatal Collision on US 79 Near Pine Bluff, AR
32-year-old Valdmar Brown (Marion, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.
At approximately 3:15 p.m. Ms. Brown was traveling west on Interstate 40 near mile marker 284 when her vehicle (2017 Chevrolet Spark) struck the rear-end of an 18-wheeler. The 18-wheeler (2016 Freightliner) was slowing to enter the weigh station when Ms. Brown’s vehicle collided with it.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
