Electric Wheelchair Struck by Vehicle Leaving Walmart in Rogers

92-year-old Billy Dee Murray (Rogers, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, October 8, 2022.

At approximately 1:50 p.m. Mr. Murray left the Walmart parking lot at 5000 W Pauline Whitaker Parkway and attempted to cross Pinnacle Hills Parkway west on an electric scooter. Mr. Murray was struck by a southbound vehicle (2014 Honda Accord) in the far outside lane of traffic on Pinnacle Hills Parkway.

Mr. Murray was transported to Mercy Medical Center in Rogers where he later succumbed to his injuries.
