While Trying to Pass Another Vehicle, Deontra Montreall Ollison Fatally Injured

Monticello resident, Deontra Montreall Ollison, was fatally injured while attempting to pass another vehicle on Arkansas Highway 530 south of Arrowhead Road in Lincoln County on Thursday, January 18th around 2:10 p.m.

Mr. Ollison was driving a 1997 Acura and attempted to pass another vehicle. His car then hit head-on with a northbound Volvo semi-truck.

Conditions at the time of the accident were said to be clear and dry.
