Car Wreck Report
Teenager Fatally Injured in Magnolia, AR Wreck
30-year-old Samantha Townsend (Batesville, AR) and 43-year-old Misty Vazquez (Batesville, AR) were both fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, January 23, 2021.
Shortly before 10:00 p.m. Ms. Townsend and Ms. Vazquez were traveling south on Kelley Road in rural Batesville when their side-by-side vehicle (2018 Polaris RZR) lost control while navigating a curve and left the roadway before striking a tree.
23-year-old Harli Slater (Batesville, AR), 25-year-old Morgan Stephens (Batesville, AR), and 34-year-old Phillip Terry (Batesville, AR) were all passengers in the Polaris RZR and sustained injures in the accident.
Those injured were transported to White River Medical Center and UAMS.
Conditions were reportedly cloudy and dry.
