Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
65-year-old Perry Lee Reed (Monticello, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Monday, June 8, 2020.
At approximately 11:09 p.m. Mr. Reed was traveling in a vehicle west on Lacey New Hope Road when the vehicle (2006 Dodge Ram 1500) he was traveling in left the roadway near Guy Daughtery Road before striking two trees.
53-year-old Clark Kent Goudy (Monticello, AR) was injured in the accident and transported with injuries to Drew Memorial Hospital.
Conditions were cloudy and wet.
